Well it happened. The Red Wings lost last night to the Penguins in game 7. That's all there is to say really. Decisions on what to do with the free agents they have will be made. But to be honest this team still is an elite NHL program that will have fire power for years to come. They will be one of the favorites to win the Stanley cup again next season and I expect they will. (because I'm a homer at times). Congrats Pens (still hate Crosby), and better luck next year Wings.
Alright, the NBA, my true love. The Lakers are now up 3-1 to the Magic in, what in my opinion, has been a very entertaining series. The funny thing is that the series could easily be 3-1 with the Magic leading if not for a few clutch shots in game 2 and game 4. Something tells me that the Lakers will be closing it out tomorrow, not sure why or how but I think it's over.
Sorry for the weak post. I'm getting ready to bring the heat for the summer. NBA off-season is in many ways just as entertaining as the regular season and in some ways more entertaining. So expect Grade A free agency, trade, and draft coverage coming to a computer near you.
