THE TRADE:
To San Antonio:

To Milwaukee:

What it does for the Spurs:
By bringing in Jefferson the Spurs are filling their need for another scorer. Jefferson has a decent jumper as well as the ability to attack the rim. He will also bring decent rebounding to the table. In giving up Bowen, Thomas, and Oberto is some expiring contracts.
What it does for the Bucks:
The Bucks were in major need of cutting costs so they could resign Ramon Sessions and Charlie Villanueva without paying the luxury tax. Jefferson was they odd man out in Milwaukee. The Bucks will likely buyout the contracts of Oberto and Bowen, who have around $3.9 million guaranteed. The deal will save the Bucks around $15 million in 2010-2011
Winner of the Deal:
Both Teams
Final Remark:
I think both teams got exactly what they wanted. Milwaukee got cap space and San Antonio got their scorer. I expect Bowen and Oberto to return to San Antonio after they are bought out.
