What it does for the Trail Blazers:
The Trail Blazers had four second round picks this year which allowed for them to package one with their first to move up. Word is they like the same player that Sacramento likes at #23, possibly Omri Casspi.
What it does for the Mavericks:
According to team owner Mark Cuban, the Mavericks are confident that they can get their man at 24. So, I guess with that logic you might as well get a couple of 2nd rounders for the effort.
Winner of the Deal:
Wait until Draft day to see. (Likely even deal for both)
Final Remark:
This move really made a lot of sense for both teams. Might as well use your asssests if you got them and collect them if you want don't.
